Title – Quality Technician 2nd Shift / 3rd shift Pay – Commensurate with Experience Job Description: • Inspect incoming and in-process product to-print and record findings and activity • Document non-conforming material and process variations assistance in attaining material disposition with other departments, communicate with purchasing, vendor and manufacturing regarding non-conformances • Investigate consumer complaints-identify root cause and implement corrective action • Work with department supervisor to reduce scrap through procedure and process improvements • Ensure daily quality checks are performed • Write/update detailed work procedures with manufacturing assistance • Perform process quality audits and support Production • Assist in training new hires and new process training • Reports to Quality / Safety Manager and works in a team environment Requirements: • Self starter who will work with limited supervision • Ability to try new ideas and learn new methods • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and works well with others • Ability to handle multiple tasks and follow direction / detail oriented • Knowledge in quality and manufacturing processes with good written skills • Proficient PC skills (email, Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word) • Excellent organizational skills • Ability to operate precision instruments such as calipers, micrometers and interpret recorded data • Ability to conduct new hire presentations and training • High school diploma or GED, Quality Technician certified is a Plus • Reliable transportation • Attendance is a MUST and available for OT work and weekend work • Excellent math skills • Spanish speaking a plus

Qualifications: • Associate degree in business or related supply chain management field • A minimum of 2-3 years of inventory control experience with a background in WMS and RF system usage (beneficial) • Understanding of the technical requirements of inventory control analysis and inventory accuracy. • Competence with SAP and Microsoft Office software required • Advanced spreadsheets and basic word processing • Planning and organizational skills with an ability to handle a multitude of projects required • Communication skills, both written and verbal must be exemplary and business mature • High Standards of integrity required • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus Key Competencies: • Ability to prioritize assignments and complete on time. • Ability to communicate assignments effectively- written and verbal • Ability to make decisions within scope of responsibility. • Able to interact well with all levels of colleagues and customers Corporate, Company and Legal Responsibility: A. Job Responsibilities & Duties: • Coordinates and works with other departments and warehouse associates to support the day-to-day operations. • Coordinates the inventory process and cycle counts for Finished goods and Raw materials in guidance with the standards set forth in the cycle count program • Monitors and performs inventory transactions through FHP inventory management systems (WMS-SAP) to ensure inventory accuracy.

Must have recent machine operating experience. Make adjustments to machine to conform to standards. Willingness to learn proprietary machinery and become certified. This is a team work environment where everyone is responsible to meet production goals. Must pass background and drug screen. Having some exp. in plastic injection molding a plus but not a requirement. Must have good oral and written English skills.
